Who We Are

Early Years is the brainchild of Dominic and Jacqui who have worked together for over 10 years in a variety of public and private settings.

In 2020 Dominic and Jacqui decided to join forces and build Early Years Physiotherapy into the specialist clinic it is today. Early Years grew from a one-room gym to a calm and light-filled clinic space that they are so proud of.

Based on the Gold Coast, Early Years Physiotherapy has grown to become a unique team of highly experienced Physiotherapists with expert paediatric training in various areas, providing the most holistic care for your child. We focus on improving mobility, strength, balance, coordination, motor planning and other gross motor skills for children with developmental, neuromuscular and congenital conditions.

Our Approach

Observation and Assessment

Our first objective is to observe and assess movement difficulties, including gait and postural analysis. Functional motor skills are also assessed through clinical observation and standardised assessment using gold standard measures.

Parent and carer education

We use a collaborative approach, working closely with families, carers and other professionals in your team, to prioritise goal setting.

We aim to develop open communication strategies in partnership with parents and carers about concerns and what they hope to achieve. Every treatment plan is tailored to suit the individual family to support realistic outcomes and steps to progress towards goals, and to improve your child’s participation in life.
